My name is Carrina, and I have been a Registered Nurse since 2017, and received my Bachelors in Science of Nursing (BSN) in 2019. I became a nurse because of my love and desire to help people. I love my patients and have always wanted to help in anyway I can.
The biggest reason for this blog is to help you to have a resource to go to to help navigate the medical field. How many times have you went to the doctor and felt overwhelmed by the medical jargon, or what questions to ask when given a diagnosis, or how a treatment works? I want to help you have a better understanding of things to expect, what questions might be helpful to ask, and how to feel more in control over your medical decisions. I am not in any way giving advice on your treatment, but giving a resource to help you be more informed.
The medical field can feel scary and overwhelming, but I want to help you feel more confident in your health care.
